Camino Lamp
The Camino shell has been used for centuries as a symbol of direction and camaraderie amongst pilgrims making their way to Santiago. Metaphorically, it acts as a symbol to remind us that although we all may take different routes, we are on the right track.
I was also drawn to this beautiful symbol because of its association with Venus, the goddess of love. In Botticelli’s famous painting, The Birth of Venus, Venus is emerging from a scallop shell, referencing fertility, resurrection, renewal, transformation and rebirth 🌙
If you feel like these themes speak to you, this might be the perfect reminder to have in your home 😍
The shell is painted in oil paint on a textured and abstract peach background.
Total product dimensions (including shade): 17.5cm (W) x 17.5cm (D) x 23cm (H)
Product weight: 0.8kg
Recommended globe 6W LED E27 (globe not included)
